The Basic Conference this year encompasses all sessions (except Mini-Sessions) and all concerts.

Sessions will address teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced students. Some planned topics include: efficient practice, tone production (including examining color); improving listening, music vocabulary, style, rhythm, healthy playing, pedal, improvisation, dealing with parents, distractions, business plans, how to survive periodic income instabilities and a “Method Book Morning”: dedicated to the examination and discussion of method books. Join us in Dallas where we will offer sessions and experiences to take back with you renewing your enthusiasm and passion for teaching, music, and your students!

To address important issues at different levels this year we will designate three separate focus areas - Early Level, Intermediate Level and Advanced Level. Each will concentrate on specific topics and challenges.
